Through the website, you can give a one-time gift, set up a recurring donation, or manage your profile to add new payment methods or see donor statements. You don't need to download a new app or create an account; simply fill out the fields, and your information will be saved in the Planning Center database.

Enter the amount you'd like to give and select the fund to give to. If you want to give to another fund, select add donation to donate to various funds while only accruing the processing fees on one donation.

Choose if this gift is One time, such as an offering given to a visiting missionary, or if it's to be given Regularly, such as tithe.

Then enter your email address and select Continue to expand the section and enter your payment method.


If you choose Regularly, you can choose how often and when to start the first donation.


If you've logged in before, log in again to give with a saved payment method. If not, you can give from a bank account or debit/credit card.

 1. Give with Bank Account

If you choose Bank account, you can either log in to your bank account or verify the bank account through a micro-deposit.

Search for or select your bank from the list.


Log in using your online banking credentials.


Once you sign in, choose the account (checking or savings, for example) you'd like the donation to come from.

If the account is verified, you'll be taken back to the Giving page to complete your donation.


You can even save the payment method, so you don't have to verify your account each time. Check the box before donating.

If you do not bank with one of the listed institutions, you can still log in and verify your bank through micro-deposit verification.

If you can't find your bank, or the instant verification failed, use this alternate method of verifying your bank account.

1.1. Submit Routing and Account Numbers

Once you select Micro-deposit verification, you'll be prompted to choose an account type and enter your routing and account numbers, both of which can be found on the bottom of a check.


Once the correct information is entered, select the blue button to start the verification process.


After adding the account, check your email to find the lifecycle of your donation.


Before the donation is finalized, you will receive two deposits to your account within a few days.

1.2. View Micro-Deposits in Account

Some banks show these micro-deposits within a day or two, but some take a little longer. A few days after posting the micro-deposits, Stripe will recoup those deposits in a single withdrawal, and we'll send you an email reminding you to verify your bank account.


Log in to your bank account and look for these transactions:



Now that the deposit and withdrawal have gone through, you'll receive an email reminding you to go to your donor profile to verify those amounts.


1.3. Enter Deposit Amounts

Log in to your donor profile and select Verify next to the bank account to add that bank account to your profile.


If the deposited amounts match, the account will be verified and will appear when you give your next donation.


A Giving Administrator can also verify the bank account from the Pay Methods tab on the donor's profile. They will need the micro-deposit amounts in order to verify the account.


Once the bank account is verified, you can make a donation from that bank account. However, until that bank account is verified by logging in or through micro-deposit verification, that bank account will not show as an option to choose when giving.


 2. Give with Debit/Credit Card

Once you choose the Debit/credit card option, enter your card number, including the expiration date and CVC number then select the Give button.


You can even save the payment method, so you don't have to verify your account each time. Check the box before donating.


iOS users will also have an option to give using Apple Pay.

Once you've given, you'll be taken to the confirmation page. 


Select View My Profile, and you'll either receive an email with a link to your profile, or, if you're logged in, you'll be taken to your donor profile.

There are different expiry times depending on the type of email:

  • Regular log-in emails expire after 30 minutes.
  • Receipt emails and notifications about recurring donations (success notifications, failure notices) expire after 2 days.
  • Statement delivery emails where the donor can click "Download statement" expire after 2 weeks.
  • Confirmation message about ACH verification expire after 2 weeks.
